My name is Ron Johnson. I grew up in Lakewood, California and my family moved to Sacramento in 1988, where I have lived since.
I graduated high school in 1992 and wandered aimlessly trying to find myself, taking junior college courses here and there while exploring life. Finally, after tiring of part-time state work and part-time college I decided to take the plunge and attend Sacramento State University. In 2002, I became the first member of my family to graduate from college, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations.
Currently, I work at the California Department of Education as an Education Consultant responsible for legislative bill analysis and fiscal issues related to the administration of a $3.6 billion annual early education child care budget.
My personal life consists of spending time with my family. This includes my amazing wife Stacie, with whom I enjoy traveling, dining, watching movies and being goofy together, and my wonderful son Lucas, who I have fun with playing video games, throwing the baseball around and reading.
